NYC Marathon training starts

I suppose if I blog about it, it will happen. So I figured instead of talking about running on the other blog I would dedicate this one to my NYC marathon training. Let me explain the title. I decided this marathon I would be racing in "barefoot" shoes. So to those who are PURE barefootists, I am not doing that, yet. For now I am training and running in Vibram Five Fingers. I have been running in both Bikilas and KSO's. I have been running in my VFFs for about 6 months now, so I have gotten use to them. I started slow with about 5 min or so and then worked up to now only running in them. I tried a few weeks ago to run in shoes and my legs DID NOT like it. SO here I am week of marathon training. This will be my second marathon, first in minimalist shoes. So far so good. My last marathon was 4:45 so I am hoping for somewhere between 4:00 and 4:15.
This weeks training includes the following:
Monday - off (I did run long on Sunday)
Tuesday - 4 miles ( I also included 2 miles speed work on the track in the PM)
Wednesday - 6 miles
Thursday - 4 miles
Friday - 6 miles
Saturday - 3 miles
Sunday - 10 miles (may move this earlier in the week)
